Meet Claudine

An Introduction to our Family

Ralph and I moved to Moorestown in 2004 for many of the same reasons our neighbors did:  top rated school district, strong community, Main Street living, and proximity to Philadelphia. We have enjoyed raising our two sons, Alec (24) and Eric (18) in Moorestown. Alec and Eric both started their MTPS journey at South Valley. Alec has since graduated from Penn State and Eric is a freshman at Auburn University.

We live in the South Valley area with amazing neighbors and friends. We have block parties, play Bunco, and have doggie play dates on a regular basis. That community feeling encouraged me to get involved in the school district as a parent, advocate, and volunteer in South Valley, UES, WAMS, and MHS.

Accessible, Accountable, Experienced Leadership

I am excited to announce that I am running for a second term on Moorestown’s Board of Education in this November’s election.  Having experienced the K-12 journey firsthand with our two sons, I felt deeply motivated to contribute to our district’s continued success and ensure it provides a strong foundation that equips our students to thrive well beyond high school. Now, with Dr. Courtney McNeely at the helm, we are fortunate to have a visionary and forward-looking Administration collaborating with our Board of Education to drive meaningful progress and achieve great things together.

One of my guiding principles as a Board member is to always ask “why” — to thoughtfully challenge every decision and policy to ensure it truly serves our students and community. I am committed to actively listening to parents and students, gathering their feedback to understand how our policies impact their everyday experiences within MTPS. This dialogue is essential to making informed, student-centered choices that elevate learning and well-being.

I am eager to continue working with the Moorestown community to uphold our district’s legacy of excellence.

By way of background, I am an attorney with a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and hold a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Northeastern University. For over 30 years, I have worked in governmental advocacy, founding Government Affairs Counsel, a boutique firm in Trenton. In this role, I help nonprofits navigate state government, legislation, and regulation. I regularly engage with the NJ School Boards Association, NJ Department of Education, NJ Department of Health, the New Jersey Legislature, Governor’s office, and other key stakeholders in education, pre-K, and childcare.

If honored with your support this November, my focus will remain on ensuring our Superintendent has the resources and backing needed to sustain the district’s high standards, advancing critical thinking skills in our curriculum, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all students to thrive. We now carry the great responsibility the community has placed in us with the recent approval of the referendum. It is essential that these funds are spent strategically to enhance student learning and development, ensuring a lasting, positive impact for our schools and families.
